This Thursday, March 14 at 19:00 hours in the David Russell Auditorium, will take place the Closing Recital of the Guest Expert of the Erasmus+ KA121 2023-2024 Project, André B. Silva.

This recital is the finale of the master classes on improvisation, taught by the Portuguese guitarist, who will perform his own songs and Jazz standards accompanied by the teachers of our center Oscar Rodriguez, double bass teacher, and David Outumuro, percussion teacher who will play drums for this occasion.

In addition, in the first part of this recital will participate the groups of students with whom André has been working these days, performing pieces made at the time, through the technique of free improvisation, as well as students of the subjects of improvisation and introduction to jazz, with whom he is working in separate groups.

Professional grade students of the CMUS Professional in Vigo in the first session of the master classes on improvisation with André B. Silva.

At the end of the concert, the Erasmus+ Team will hand out diplomas to the students participating in the master classes.

Finally, remember that on Friday morning, between 11:30 and 13:00 there will be a master class and colloquium aimed at teachers of our center on “Teaching Strategies for the implementation of improvisation in the classroom”.
