CMUS Professional Vigo colleagues, Óscar Davila Mariño and Ramón Cabezas Varela, Horn and Harmony teachers respectively, are this week in Parma, Italy, from Tuesday 16th to Saturday 20th April, in Job-Shadowing activities at the Arrigo Boito Conservatory of Music.

Attending a busy schedule of classes each in their respective subjects, Ramón and Óscar say they are delighted with the experience. The Conservatory is a very nice old convent, and Riccardo Mascia, one of the Erasmus+ coordinators, is very kind and has been very welcoming to our faculty, as well as the rest of the Conservatory staff.

Ramón attended harmony and composition classes with Roberto Sansuini, as well as ear training education classes. Oscar attended didactic concerts and horn lessons with Elisa Bogneti. They also got to know the center’s library and how it works, and attended a congress on ear training education that was being held at the same time at the Arrigo Boito Conservatory.

Of course, they had some time to visit the city and also to rest in the beautiful Palazzio Bianchi lodging.

Here are some pictures of their experience, and we hope that they will tell everything in detail when they return from their trip.
