Yesterday, Thursday May 9th, several activities were held in the CMUS Professional Vigo to commemorate the “Europe Day”.

On the one hand, at 6 pm in the garden of the conservatory, we planted a “gingko biloba” tree to contribute to promote one of the values of the Erasmus+ Project, sustainability. In addition to the members of the Erasmus+ Team, many of the participants of this year’s project mobilities, teachers and students, and also part of the educational community attended this activity.

In the photos you can see below, we also highlight the participation of the Traditional Music department, with the student Andrea Cabaleiro, who played several pieces to open the speeches by the Secretary Ángel Montes and the Erasmus+ Coordinator Sara Peral, and also while we planted the tree.

On the other hand, at 7 p.m. a concert was held in the David Russell Auditorium, where students from different courses performed pieces by European composers. We would like to thank the teachers Nerea Rodríguez, Oscar Rodríguez, Patricia Cadaveira, Edita Shulmann, Sara Peral, Maider Ordozgoiti, Daniel Pereira, Virginia Lis, Gonzalo García, Javier Escobar, Diego Ventoso, Cristian Silva, Antonio Rodríguez and José Pons for their involvement in the concert with their students, as well as the Activities Team of the CMUS Professional in Vigo for their collaboration in the organization of the event.

Below we attach the program of the concert with the participating students, as well as the pieces performed, and you can also see it by clicking on the video, as it was broadcast in Streaming with the help of Professor Antonio Rodríguez. We also leave you some pictures that we could take while we enjoyed the wonderful interpretations of our students. From the Erasmus+ Team we want to congratulate the students who participated for making us enjoy more than an hour of music.
