Students from the CMUS Professional School in Vigo on an Erasmus exchange programme in the city of Faro (Portugal).

From Sunday 22nd to Saturday 28th March, students from the CMUS Profesional in Vigo took part in an Erasmus exchange programme at the Conservatório Regional do Algarve Maria Campina in the Portuguese city of Faro.

Whilst at the conservatoire, in addition to touring the facilities and attending various classes across the different specialisms and subjects, they were able to join the conservatoire orchestra students for a joint concert held in the auditorium.

Our students also had the opportunity to perform for the pupils and staff of the host school at a concert organised especially for the occasion. In addition to the academic activities, there was also time to explore the city of Faro, the natural beauty of the Ria Formosa, and, as the icing on the cake, to visit the ever-beautiful city of Lisbon, bringing this experience to a close.

The students who took part in this exchange programme were Brezo Verea Nieto, María González Dopeso, Nerea Fernández Alonso, Iris Nogueira Munilla and Antonio Ramón Martínez Castro, accompanied by our colleague Javier González Lamas, the school’s head of studies and trumpet teacher.

The Erasmus team would like to thank the staff and students in Faro for the warm welcome they gave our students during this unforgettable experience.
