Following the summer break, the Cmus is kicking off a new academic year, and the Erasmus Team is still working hard to organise the upcoming activities!
For the 2026–2027 academic year, the Erasmus+ team will once again consist of Sara Peral, our Co-ordinator; Baldomero Barciela, responsible for technical support; Ángel Montes, the school’s Secretary; Carmen Carreiras, Deputy Headteacher; and Virginia Lis, Cecilia Martínez, Isabel Figueroa and the new addition, Jesús Vicente – all teaching staff at the school who complete our team.
Last academic year, our teaching staff took part in Erasmus+ mobility programmes at MUBA in Tallinn (Estonia) and at the ‘Maria Campina’ Algarve Regional Conservatoire in Faro (Portugal), with the latter institution serving as the destination for our students’ mobility programme. Furthermore, as a host institution, we welcomed teaching staff from European institutions such as the Francisco Rosado Conservatoire in Loulé (Portugal), the Central Ostrobothnian Conservatoire in Kokkola (Finland) and MUBA in Tallinn (Estonia).
We were also joined by guest expert Marc Chevalier, from the Conservatoire de Vienne (France). The visiting teaching staff, regardless of which institution they came from, highlighted the warm welcome they received, the involvement of the entire educational community and the interest generated by the activities organised.
Other events at which we represented our college included the “Erasmus+ Vocational Training Mobility Days” in Carmona (Seville) and the “Music and Dance for Europe” seminar in Frankfurt (Germany), and, as has become tradition, we held the “ErasmusDays 2025” and “Europe Day”, which we had the opportunity to celebrate with our friends from the EFCA.
This academic year is packed with activities, and all of us on the Erasmus team are working flat out to ensure that, for yet another year, the educational community has access to the unforgettable possibilities and opportunities offered by the Erasmus programme.
We’ll keep you updated regularly! Keep an eye on our blog and social media!!
