Our Erasmus+ coordinator Sara Peral and our inspector Eduardo Seco are attending the Erasmus+ Seminar “Music and Dance for Europe” being held in Frankfurt (Germany) from 5 November to Friday 7 November.

This week, our coordinator Sara Peral, together with inspector Eduardo Seco, travelled to the Leibniz Schule in Frankfurt, Germany, to participate in this seminar on behalf of CMUS Profesional de Vigo.

The “Music and Dance for Europe”, in association with conservatories and dance and music schools with Erasmus projects in development, organises various activities whose main objectives are to learn about the different educational systems of the countries of the participating centres, study centres and educational levels in which to develop sustainable and enriching Erasmus experiences.

This week, among other activities, Erasmus representatives from the 29 participating conservatories and schools, who came from all over Europe, presented their centres to publicise the projects they are carrying out. Among them, thanks to the good work of Sara and Eduardo, the CMUS Profesional de Vigo was presented to coordinators from other European music and dance centres. They must have done a very good job, because they generated a lot of interest in several of them, with the possibility of them coming to visit us in the future.

At the same time, Sara and Eduardo were able to visit schools and conservatories similar to ours and had the opportunity to establish new relationships with their Erasmus representatives, with the intention of opening new channels of dialogue and cooperation for future mobility programmes, which will be announced in due course.

They also had the opportunity to learn first-hand about examples of good practices in internationalisation and very interesting developments in Erasmus+ project management (such as the innovative Erasmus+ coordination app).

There was also an opportunity to continue working on this year’s mobility programmes to Faro (Portugal) and Tallinn (Estonia), and the visit of this year’s guest expert.

As you can see, it was a very intense and enriching week, where every day was filled with learning, reflection and collaboration among all the participants, who, although they came from all corners of Europe, form a single large Erasmus community

As always, we would like to thank the seminar organisers and Leibniz Schule for their warm welcome, and a special thanks to Inspector Eduardo Seco, with whom it was a pleasure and an honour to present CMUS Profesional de Vigo in Europe.
