From 4 to 7 November, our Erasmus+ coordinator Sara Peral and our inspector Eduardo Seco attended this conference, held in the beautiful German city of Frankfurt.
As we already reported in this blog, Sara Peral and Eduardo Seco attended these intense sessions in which, together with colleagues from other European institutions, they reflected, learned and discovered other Erasmus projects. Here are the reflections of inspector Eduardo Seco.
The Erasmus+ Team at CMUS Profesional de Vigo would like to thank our inspector for his words and his collaboration with our project. We will continue working to improve!
From 4 to 7 November, I took part in a job shadowing activity at the Leibnezschule in the German city of Frankfurt. This is a secondary school focused on obtaining the baccalaureate and with a strong musical vocation, as it teaches different musical instruments.
The activities took place in morning and afternoon sessions and, although intense, they were very interesting as they allowed me to learn about the German education system, its organisation and the functioning of a centre of this type, with a large number of non-German students and a strong musical focus. At the same time, I was able to learn first-hand about conservatories in other European countries and the international projects they organise, from weeks dedicated to jazz or music competitions to the organisation of an orchestra made up of students from different countries.
Learning about best practices was particularly interesting, both in terms of music (which can be incorporated into CMUS) and the general running of the centre (which is relevant from an inspection point of view).
I would like to thank the centre’s Erasmus Team for all their hard work and, in particular, the coordinator who accompanied me and helped me at all times with all the practical and tedious aspects of mobility.
