Our Erasmus+ Coordinator Sara Peral attended the ‘Erasmus+ Mobility Conference for Accredited Mobility Projects for Vocational Education and Training Students and Staff (KA121 VET)’ this week, which took place on 30 September and 1 October in Carmona (Seville).
Our Erasmus Coordinator, Sara Peral, travelled to Carmona (Seville) to participate in these conferences on behalf of the CMUS Professional in Vigo.
The ‘Erasmus+ Initial Workshops for Accredited Mobility Projects (KA121-VET) in Vocational Training for the 2025 Call,’ organised by the Spanish Service for the Internationalisation of Education (SEPIE) and in collaboration with the Regional Ministry of Educational Development and Vocational Training of the Regional Government of Andalusia and the City Council of Carmona, brought together 500 vocational training professionals from all over Spain on 30 September and 1 October at the Teatro Cerezo in Carmona (Seville), including educational authorities and teachers coordinating Erasmus+ projects at vocational training centres, with the aim of learning about the keys to managing and implementing these projects.
Among the scheduled activities, Sara and the Erasmus coordinators from other accredited centres, professionals from all corners of Spain, learned first-hand the keys to the proper management and dissemination of their Erasmus+ projects subsidised in 2025, which will allow more than 27,500 students and educational staff from Basic Vocational Training, intermediate vocational training, professional music and dance conservatories, and organisations that award certificates of professional competence, not only to enjoy enriching international experiences, but also to contribute to the development of key skills and the creation of a more open and global educational community.
The opening ceremony was attended by María Gómez Ortueta, director of the SEPIE Vocational Training Unit, Antonio Cano Luis, mayor of Carmona Town Council, and Florentino Santos Porras, secretary general for Vocational Training at the Regional Ministry of Educational Development and Vocational Training of the Regional Government of Andalusia.
In parallel with the intense programme of events, there were also some moments of leisure to enjoy the show ‘Jaleo’ by the Ángela Rodríguez flamenco dance group, which opened the first day, and the cultural activity ‘Historic Carmona’.
Once again, as on other occasions, we would like to thank SEPIE for the excellent organisation of this conference, the interesting content and the warm welcome we received. We are very motivated and happy to participate in this project and we are honoured to represent one of the 35 accredited professional music and dance conservatories in Spain.
Here are some photos summarising these days of intense work so that you can see for yourselves.
