Our Erasmus+ Coordinator of the CMUS Professional Vigo, Sara Peral, and our inspector, Rosalía Polo, travelled on 11th and 12th December to the Conservatorio di Musica Giovanni Batista Martini in Bologna, Italy, to prepare the mobility of teachers who will travel to this destination.

This is the first time that the Education Inspectorate has accompanied our school within the Erasmus Project to see first hand the work that is done year after year to carry out the different activities that are carried out within this programme.

The Erasmus+ Team invited our inspector to this joint visit with the intention of observing the work and confirming the quality of the management of the different activities carried out within the Erasmus mobilities.

This is the last preparatory visit of this academic year, and from January will begin the pre-training days for students and teachers who were selected to enjoy the mobilities of this academic year 2024-25.

Sara and Rosalía worked during these days with the Erasmus+ Coordinator, Luisa Baldassari, to elaborate the work plan for our colleague Virginia Lis, who will be the teacher who will enjoy the mobility to this destination. They also met the Director, Mº Aurelio Zarrelli and other staff of the school who gave them several books published by the school or written by the teaching staff.

Our Erasmus+ Coordinator and our Inspector visited the library archive with the director of the library, Dott. Luciano Scarpacci, attended several classes at the conservatory, were at the orchestra rehearsal, had an interview with the production office, attended the presentation of a book on music and cinema, a didactic concert rehearsal with ballet and the open day of the Cavazza institute, equivalent to the Spanish ONCE, which was carrying out inclusion activities, taking away a pleasant impression of the Conservatory and the city. https://www.consbo.it/flex/cm/pages/ServeBLOB.php/L/IT/IDPagina/2378

Of course, they also visited places of interest in this wonderful northern Italian city, such as the Museum of Music or the Museum of Anteros and Ptolemy. Here are some photos of the experience lived by Sara and Rosalía.
